The contents of Define Destiny and the remaining sequels are true to the original storyline. I want to clearly point this out to any would be purchasers that this includes point of view (head hopping) errors and the occasional typo. If you want a rollercoaster of a journey into the lives of Catherine & Jace you begin here.
In the late 1990’s, when fan-fic was coming into its own via the internet, I started writing the Define Destiny Series. Define Destiny was my first full-length novel for the internet in 1998. The response for the first book, Define Destiny, was so overwhelmingly positive that for the next twelve years I wrote six more stories. The stories in the series are as they appeared on the internet all those years ago. The book edit on Define Destiny was for the initial publication in 2002 and again for the second edition in 2006.
Ten years have passed. Life for Catherine, Jace and their children and friends appears to have settled into a calm routine.
However, lurking under the surface of this happy veneer is a secret that Jace is reluctant to impart to Catherine and brings them to the brink of separation.
Added to that scenario, Catherine is keeping her own secrets about her failing business empire. The consequence is a run-in with the US government, and may end in a jail term for fraud.
Will friends, old and new, help the couple, not only stay together but divert disaster on the business front?
As always, nothing is ever what is seems with the Destiny family and this final story to-date really does have the world changing around the couple.

JM please continue as this can't be the last...There are too many questions left unanswered.The stubbornness of both Jace & Catherine in this book is just about their undoing. I wanted to take them both behind the wood shed! Their lack of communication on both sides & words to each other had you wondering if a split, for good, was in the future. The kids were feeling the atmosphere was pretty thick between Jace & Catherine & would avoid them if needed. Catherine, much to her dismay has to go to New York alone for an unknown amount of time & she wanted her entire family with her. Jace refused. Had Catherine been more forthcoming in what was at stake, things could have been different.
Catherine had not been following her company, Xianthos, close enough and will pay dearly for that. Jail time may be in her future. However, she won't share that with Jace & that maybe her undoing. Jace is finding that she is doing a lot with the Vicar over the years with the dealings of the orphanage & other things. They had a wonderful friendship, so Jace thought, but the Vicar thought more because Catherine was never around.
The older Children are off to University & some to love. I will let that one unfold for you.
As always, JM, has twists & turns in her books & you don't want to give them all away. I loved this book, couldn't put it down.

As soon as I began reading the 7th and final book, "A World of Change", I found myself engulfed immediately. But, I feared the direction the story was heading concerning Catherine & Jace's future and that of Xianthos. Unlike the previous books, this one was more of a continuous flow of events as Catherine left Destiny, her relationship with Jace was a mess, but she had to go to NY and save her company. I did not want to put it down.
As luck had it, my partner and I of over 18 years, were in for a quiet Saturday night, we were babysitting our youngest granddaughter, while the rest of the gang went to the Monster Truck Show. Fortunately, that presented me with time to read, and other than a few interruptions when asked or needed, I read until I completed it around 200 am.
If you are looking for a wonderful, epic love story, you must read all seven books in the "Define Destiny Series" by JM Dragon. I relished in every one of them, with everything that Catherine, Jace, and the entire family went through over the 15 plus years those books spanned, the outcome was as it should be, the only way it could have been!!!
Although, I do wonder about a few of the questions left unanswered... Is Hudson still alive & who was behind the security breach & money theft that almost cost Catherine her company, and possibly everything else she held dear??
